  • Confidential documents released to the media contained a covert inbuilt printer code that was used to link it to desktop printing equipment at North Perth Police Station.
  • Fraudulent alteration of a medical certificate by a police officer.
  • Fraudulent alteration of a photocopy of a medical certificate by a police officer.
  • Post‑pak “bomb” used in a Building Society robbery — Electro-Static Detection Apparatus examination revealed address details of the offender.
  • Pervert the course of justice — a kickboxer was killed in Midland while attempting to prevent a vehicle theft; a sequence of events was prepared to support an alibi, by the offender's girlfriend.
  • A confession letter detailing the daily movements of an offender, who murdered their two children and then attempted suicide.
  • Police Air Wing crash, Australia Day 2001 — examination of a damaged and obliterated flight log document which was recovered from the crash scene.
  • Illicit drugs recovered from beneath a residence, concealed in toilet‑paper drug folds.
  • Examination of burnt documents retrieved from an incinerator — Hayley Dodd missing person case.
  • Examination of hundreds of documents seized from OMCG premises following the murder of Don Hancock / Lou Lewis by car bomb in Lathlain (Operation Zircon, 2001).
  • Examination of extensive documentation relating to the Claremont Serial Killer investigation (Sarah Spiers, Jane Rimmer, Ciara Glennon) — Macro Taskforce.
  • Examination of hundreds of stolen and subsequently altered cheques — Operation Whitewash.
  • Stalking and breach of Violence Restraining Order — This matter was among the earliest cases prosecuted under Western Australia’s newly enacted stalking legislation, 2001.
  • Birthday card sent to a prison inmate containing concealed illicit drugs (within the chemical pouch of the accompanying Polaroid photograph).
  • Handwritten documents containing fictional accounts of child sexual abuse located within a prisoner’s cell.
  • Mass identity and travel documentation prepared for Commonwealth Games 2018 participants — Operation Looptrail.
  • Detailed forensic analysis of 183 signatures attributed to a single individual across numerous business documents, representing one of the largest signature examinations completed to date.
  • Forged signature on a Department of Transport vehicle transfer form involving a former OMCG member.
  • Altered entries in a vehicle logbook, with the logbook sourced from a different, older vehicle of the same make and model - effectively a fraudulently altered fraudulently obtained document.
  • Building contract variation 'signed' using a cut‑and‑paste signature captured from another, legitimate document. 
  • Examination of historical correspondence from the 1960s concerning disputes over mining royalties in Western Australia, during 2025.  This case, resolved in 2026, involved the sharing of royalties worth hundreds of millions of Australian dollars.
